Rear brake repair... Easy?

Hey everyone! As spring is about to roll in, I finished repairing my front rotors and pads, and I have a feeling my drums and shoes are finished as my car's a 2004 sunfire and the rear brakes have never been serviced . I know I know but the e-brake locks up the rear wheel just fine so I've never bothered to have them looked at.
My question is are rear brakes easy to do if you've done your homework and have the necessary tools? And if the drums don't slide off with ease or with some gentle "love taps", What should be my next move?? I'd crack out the sledge hammer but I don't want to warp or mess up anything...

Ideas?

easy...if the drum doesnt come loose with a couple hits get a pry bar behind it and hit it while you apply pressure to the pry bar..

as far as the brake shoes go just take pictures so you remember where all the springs and such go

yup take a pic of the brakes or better yet make sure you do them one at a time. and use the other side as a reference. dont forget to let the ebrake handle down when you remove the drum lol. or you will never get it off.
