struts and lowering

The struts are going bad in my 01 z24 so i would like to know a good brand of struts to go with that i am able to put a 2in lowering kit on. thanks

d-specs or yellows, those are all that will handle 2".

Tokico HP's also can handle a 2'' drop.

yes, actually... they can. they are the same damn thing as d-specs just without the adjustability. look it up, ask the company. dont follow the myths.

OP- yellows usually run around $600. and you have to make them work. if you are not mechanically inclined i advise buying either the tokico hp's or the dspecs as they are a completely bolt on and done affair.

Really? All i have heard is that they are stock replacements, hmm. Oh well.

yeah man, thats all i heard to. i had to learn the hard way as well from mr blue02zee up there ^^^ LOL

its no big deal though, were all students striving for information.

so which are the derect replacement that can handle a 2in drop? also for my 2in what brand should i go with. id like the easiest route possible

tokico d-specs/hp's can handle 2" and are both a direct bolt in and go deal.

easiest would be a set of eibach sportlines and one of those. personally, id choose d-specs as they are adjustable.

yes.

although you can find just the struts and then eibach springs a bit cheaper, not much but a little bit if you look around.
