I'm looking for hydrophobic socks to go over coils, something like the left strut in the picture above.

But I don't know what they're called, I've been searching for 'coil spring sock' 'coil spring cover' and all sort of other things but haven't come up with much more than shock boots (accordions)

Anybody know what they're called/where to buy them?

i don't see the point in that type of a sock,its still gonna let dirt etc in,why not us something without holes?

The one in the picture seems like an awful design, but I've seen these available for ATVs and bikes (1-2" springs) from lizardskin. They work the same way as cone filter socks, letting air in but having holes too small for water.

I have socks on my savage(RC) shocks,it really keeps things clean.
