I have the money to buy some lowering springs this summer, but my problem is that I live in West Virginia and we have some harsh winters here. My 04 Cav is my daily driver and I want to lower it, but I don't want to jeopardize getting stuck in the snow or anything like that. My car went like a tank in the snow this winter. I don't know how hard and aggravating swapping springs when I do my wheels would be. So any suggestions or help with my dilemma would be helpful. Thanks.
Coilovers, problem solved

Agreed. The problem is, I don't have $1200
I wish I did though.

and shocks too?
He
MUST HAVE meant to say Shocks as well...he cant be that ignorant.
Of course shocks too
that's a given. Sorry for the confusion.
im dropped and kitted in MI.
My car drives year round
^ You notice any significant difference in how it goes in the snow?
no body roll seemed to help me out this past winter being lowered.. Also switched to winter tires so i'd like to think the combo helped quite well
btw, the answer is always:
To Lower (correctly with spring/strut combo or coilovers/airride lol)

It's not hard at all, took me three or so hours with no prior experience. Even though I don't deal with snow down here in Fl, mine's a DD and the only changes I've made is being a little more careful
Thanks to everybody for all of the help. Looks like I will have a lowering project this summer.
