1 inch or 1.5?

i was wondering what would be the best drop for my car, 2004 cavalier...i am looking at this tokico d-spec shock kit that comes with springs that drop it 1 inch or buying skunk 2 lowering springs that do a 1.6 front and 1.4 rear. what would be my best bet for performance and comfortability?

Sportlines.
1.8 in the front, 2.3 in the rear.

performance and comfort hate each other. If you want performance, gtpsunfire's recommendation is on the money - sportlines+dspecs are a great, economical way to a low sporty ride. Comfort will suffer.

If you want to drop it yet maintain some level of comfort, go pro-kit or tein H/S.tech. The ride is not as low, and the body roll is not as thoroughly controlled, but the ride is very tolerable.

I have no experience with the tokico springs, nor the skunk2s, but i'm willing to bet they are high spring rate (especially the skunk2s) and will not be very comfortable.

comfort really doesnt suffer THAT much on sportlines. i cant say for dspecs but on yellows the ride was just fine. it got a little bouncy every now and then but i had mine set to full soft....

180hp in 1989 or 145hp in 2002, you decide. >

275 was the magic spring rate for my front end. Rear I'm still working on fine tuning.
