Anybody heard of Maxspeed lowing springs? They are on eBay so I'm a little leery. Was wondering if anyone has used them or even heard of them and if you have them what are your thoughts? What struts are you using with them? Bouncy? What's the ride like? Stiff or sloppy?

Rich, here's the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390205944772&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1338wt_1165

Bouncy's not cool, but i kinda figured they would be crappy based on the price, which is why i asked before I bought.

Any more opinions?

EBay is the last place to look for suspension parts unless your looking for specific parts.

There are good name brand parts on there but looking for parts that are "cheap" shouldn't be done.

Just my thought.......

"Oil Leak ? What oil Leak ? Oh, Thats Just The Sweat From All The HorsePower!!"

^^ No I completely agree. Only reason I was on eBay was I was looking for a pro-kit and AGX's which I found, but these were on there as well so I thought I'd ask about them, if anyone has used them, etc...

i had goldlines when i was a college kid and stayed stock for a year and a half while i saved my pennies for koni yellows.

being broke is not an excuse for drop springs on stock struts... you don't HAVE to put them on without the proper struts.

re-read what he said. he had the springs for a year and a half before installing them because he didnt have proper struts. so no. no he didnt do the same thing you did.

I probably could have worded it a little better but yes... I stayed with the stock setup until i had the money for proper struts.

lowering springs do make good hood props at shows though until you can put them on the car the proper way.
