I once saw one of these for sale on here but it was in Canada, also did a search and it yielded nothing.

Someone had taken the stock rear axle and extended the trailing arms to compensate for the back seat wheel tuck our cars have. Just wondered if anyone had pics or info about this setup. The point was to lee the wheel more in the middle when aired out.

well i found alot of good stuff but no axle pics or anything to do with it

AFAIK, he cut the ends of another axle off a few inches from the bushing, and opened up the axle he was modding so that the other parts slid into it, then welded. Nothing complicated, just make sure you get your measurements right, so you don't angle your tires toward one side or the other.

quick sounds like your talking about widening it, the trailing arms arent straight.

No, I understand what you're trying to do. I found the thread Phewes posted on his build for you.

Here it is. It's not terribly descriptive, but you get the idea. He also made an offset strut mount on it.
