what is everyone using for the front 24mm factory sway bar bushings?
'03 Sunfire 190k
I think most folks are using the energy suspension bushings from advance or other local parts store.
Sig'less since '02!
AutoZone can get them thru energy suspension.
Well there's 2 slightly different versions for 24mm bar
9.5128
9.5109

Buy them, see what works, then return the other set.
M62, 42's, ZZP 3", ZZP S3 H/E
214whp 190wtq
I think one has a grease zerk. I know where I got mine one had one the other didn't. I got the non greased. I can't remember part numbers though
I see now. Only difference appears to be a thicker wall on the right bushing. I have the one to the left on my 05
i ordered the left one that measures similar to the factory bushing. i wonder if there is a difference you can feel or over a long period of time if the thinner one will wear out quicker or somthing.
do you think there will be a big difference upgrading to the 24mm from the 19mm sway bar?
'03 Sunfire 190k
Your 03 should already have a 24mm bar. Also there will be a noticeable difference when upgrading the bushings and endlinks alone
i have measured and looked it up and its an option upgrade to the fe2 package
'03 Sunfire 190k
FE1 95-99 18mm
FE2 00-02 22mm
FE3 03-05 24mm
If your 03 sunfire has a factory sway bar it is equipped with the FE3 suspension package and has a 24mm front sway bar. Unless this is for a different car you shouldn't have a 19mm sway bar and no need to buy that one on ebay
i already received the 24mm bar. my sunfire has the fe1 suspension. i checked the spare tire cover

I stand corrected. I thought the FE2 just had two versions for 00-02 and 03-05
here are some comparison pics of the stock 24mm bushing and energy suspension 9.5109 polyurethane bushing

so the prothane bushings in my stock control arms are completely wore out! the metal sleeves have lots of play inside the bushing. how the he!! did the go out so soon?
'03 Sunfire 190k
Yours isn't the first post I've seen about that metal sleeve making an oval in the rubber...... makes me wonder how good of an idea those urethane control arm bushings are... Between that and them "popping" back out of the arm....
I am thinking about calling them. The suckie part is I just got another set. For my aluminum control arms
