need some expert opinions on the best drop for my car, 03 cavalier Z24LS... not sure if I should consider airbags or not.. but maybe a good coilover system, springs, struts, looking for around a 2" drop that will be reliable aswell... thanks

What do you want out of the car? Nice DD? Track slut? Full show car?

Boost > N/A

180hp in 1989 or 260hp in 2008, you decide. Quad < Ecotec

well I was looking for a daily driver.. but things are gettin outta control already,, I'm already searching parts for my auto to manual swap, and wondering about a rebuild with mabey a smaller shot of nitrous, but that will be over the winter... to be honest I don;t know alot about these cars yet, but theres so much info on here, my eyes are buring!. I will be driving this car lots so I wanted a drop around 2inches maybe run some 17's.. but the first step is the susp.. I have around $1200 to play with.. thanks in advance for the insight on this.

If i did it again I would go with koni struts and Eibach sportlines. The AGX struts are ok with the prokit, which im running. Its great for a daily driver but not as low as your looking for.

i've run goldlines/koni yellows and tein ss. I'd highly recommend the ss' if you're willing to spend the $$

Go with the B&G spring and shock combo. $590 1.6" all away around drop. Great suspension kit for the money.

ive yet to be blown away by the std's.. (but that doesnt mean i cant be, id like to see someone that has them get down the track 20 or 30 times on em and see what they can do, i have only seen a few runs...) in my opinion the tein's are better. (for drag racing anyways) (so far)

pauls car improved consistent 2 and 3 tenths on the 60 foots with street tires after installing the teins, plus... it'd be more on drag radials or slicks. how many people can say they have cut a 1.9 60 foot IN A J-BODY on STREET TIRES? i bet you can count them on one hand.

I would say the STD probably would shine on AutoX or road course racing since thats what they are designed for.
