Struts/lowering springs
Saturday, October 02, 2010 11:46 PM
I just bought some Tein H-tech lowering springs for my 04 cavalier. I was wondering which struts would work best with these springs. I don't want anything too expensive since I'm thinking of buying coilovers in a little more than a year. But I also don't want anything cheap.

Quit spending money and wait. It wont do you any good to buy cheap stuff now if you know you're going to replace it in a year.

well first of all, i already bought the springs. second, i was talking with my friend and he told me the same thing, so i think im going to get my paint job and projectors first. so, i would have to wait more than a year to buy my coilovers.

Why not get coilovers before paint and pretty lights....

Well my brother does body work so I would just buy the paint and have him do the paint job and my friend can do custom projectors for my 04 cav. So all together it's cheaper than coilovers. I just wanna get some good struts to install my springs.

I would go with the Tokico D specs if you are looking for a drop strut.

H-techs are only a 1 inch drop so I think the HP's are more than enough.
