I have a 01 cavalier 2.2L ohv 4 spd auto. My question I just replaced my rear struts with new ones. Also new Strut bushings as well. I got all the parts changed over torqured everything up. I noticed the metal circle cap (bushing) Plate? that the nut tightens too. I torqued the nut to proper spec's I notice there is about 1mm play in the circle plate. The nut is still tight. It makes a anoynning rattling sound. Some I added some silicone to hold the circle plate down from rattling. Its fixed now. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this as well.
