is w-body irs the same as a n-body? there diffrent platforms but didnt know if w irs could be used on a j?

W body is much wider than a J-body. N-body frame rails are the same width... so much easier to make it fit. I measured pretty much every GM car in a wrecking yard to make sure the N-body stuff would fit... test fits, mock ups, etc... The W-body stuff was too much work to make fit.

I'm not saying it can't be done... but it's not going to be as easy to make work, as the four bolts and brake lines that the N-body is.

plus the w-body has that POS fiberglass spring (well the older ones do anyway) that makes the assend squat way low when it lazy's out.
