Vibrations While Braking >>> 99 Cavy

I searched the topic and found several threads but none too specific to my problem, I know my car needs new rear shoes as they are likely the originals but my vibrations come from the front end of the car. No vibrations while accelerating or cruising or slowing from low speeds... 30 mph and lower or so. But when coming gently to a stop from say highway speeds there is horrible vibrations throughout the car, and really makes the dash shake. But when at highway speed and hitting the brakes hard it slows down really fast (lol) but no vibrations? Car has Brembo Slotted Rotors & EBC Greenstuff pads so I wouldn't suspect warped rotors but i guess it is a possibility? Anybody have any ideas? I would tear into it a little more but i'm at college & no access to any of my tools.
