Hi there guys,
I ordered the Eibach Sportlines and Koni Yellow combo, and i'll be installing those in a week or 2. I have a '03 Cavi and while i have the thing apart i think it would be a good idea to replace all the strut mounts. Are the Monroe mounts ok to use or is there a better chioce? The Monroe 904919 for the front and Monroe 902949 for the rears is what i'm looking at.
Thanks
Don
the monroe's are stock replacements. not intended for a drop, but they'll be better than the original one's you have in.
the other choice would be to look at O.E.M.'s site. mark sells aftermarket custom made front and rear mounts.
i used monroes on my sportline/yellow's and they worked great.

Stock replacement rear strut mounts will not fit Yellows. You must drill out the sleeve in the mount. It's actually quite retarded if you ask me. A nice solid rear strut mount would be good in this scenerio.
Also I highly suggest going with 95-99 front strut mounts opposed to 00-05 when going O.E. style. MUCH better design and less problems down the road.
Just an idea and suggestion. Sell those yellows before you use them and order some Tokico D-specs. Full replacement strut opposed to Koni's hack setup. Koni put NO thought into making J-body suspensions. I would never give them another dime of my money.
Just trying to help!
