U won't feel muchof a diff at all with either type of bar. Front or rear, put them both on or off at the same time and then there might b a noticeable diff. As for the type of bar, that's debatable but again pretty negligible for ourcars. A solidwelded bar is better than a bar that is bolted to metal plates bcuz it eliminates spots in the bar that could flex. However if u r going to go with a "flex" type bar there's really no diff between the eBay bars and a big name bar like vibrant. Ur just paying for the name. I had no problems installing my eBay rear bar.

Btw the vert gm bar is solid welded, I've bought two from the jy for 5 bux a piece.
To my knowledge the only available solid rear bar is made by o.e.m. And it costs at least 5x as much as an eBay bar. If uve got that type of. Money for a rear bar rock on but IMO it's just not worth it for the minimal gain (in term's of what can be "felt"). however i will say that if your'e focusing on tightening your chassis and suspension up as much as possible the o.e.m. bar is worth every penny as they pretty much have a monopoly in the market of solid welded rear bars.

hope this helps bud

I dont really see why you need a rear bar? The car has one built in, its called the rear deck.

not really, the rear deck does nothing to help the two strut towers remain parralel to one another during hard cornering which is the basic premise behind a strut tower bar. that's like saying y would you need a front bar when there's a firewall?

Actually that part of the sentence is correct. On cars with the shock towers that close to the firewall, an stb is mostly for looks.

yea i was looking at the ebay ones, my front is an ebay one, the only time i noticed a difference was after i lowered it, but ive since returned it to stock ride height recently so im lloking into a rear rut bar and eibach rear swar bar so i can stay at stock ride height and still get superior handling, what do you guys think about that?

oh yea i know its nothing big but i already replaced the factory front sway bar bushings all with energy suspension poly bushings.

theoretically the car should handle better lowered. when the ca's are about parallel with the ground is right about that "sweet spot".

the rear sway bar will be your largest improvement as far as any suspension/chassis bar goes. you'll notice a huge difference.

psssh seejust was asking if anyoe sells these anymore basically. oh well. guess its another ebay trip. i just better make sure the bar i get doesnt say dropzone on it anywhere or it may be explosive or something

no as far as i know no one sells vibrant bars anymore. and if it says dropzone for a strut bar go for it. all strut bar's are the same for our cars if they're not solid. that simple. there's a big difference between manufacturing a strut bar and a strut.

ok well, i just ordered an eibach rear anti sway bar for my 05 cav from turbo tech. should i even bother with the rear strut bar now, or i may as well since im on stock struts/springs permanently now? i mean the rear strut bar is less than 30 bucks shipped. was also eyeing the kbrace too. what do you guys think?

Chassis bracing is always a good idea.

yea i figured. it cant hurt since im going to be running on oem springs/struts from now on.so than everything else i can do will def help to tighten it up besides whats already done to it. oh i also ordered a set of powerslot brake rotors from ttr to help out in handling too, i already have some nice prostop ceramic pads wich i love so im keeping those.
