will a strut bar for an 03 cavy fit an 02? strut bar, not sway bar people, lol


horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

What's the difference between the '02 and '03 models? All the aftermarket stuff I've found lists 95-02 separately from '03, '04, but it doesn't give a description of the differences.

All suspension components are interchangable in all 95-05 J-bodies, just fyi.

In 02 there were two 2.2 litre engines and a 2.4 litre in 03-05 there was only the best engine from the previous 3 left.

some strut bars cant be used with cavalier or sunfires with the 2.2ohv motor and most likely the 2200ohv. because the intake or throttle body gets in the way. but if you want peace of mind, i would recommend the stock 1995-2000 cavalier or sunfire convertible struts bar. doesnt matter the motor type since it flows with the fire wall.

Another good think about the oem one is that it bolts to the firewall which increases the rigidity that one gains from a strut tower bar.
