This is my first time posting on J-Body so please any help would be very appreciative.
I have a 2004 Cavy that is driven everyday, it has 16in tires for the summer and 14in tires for the fall and winter. I need help in picking the best lowering springs that have the best drive-ability for the Pa winter storms and the best overall driving comfort that is not to harsh or to soft to deal with. I was looking at the Eibach Pro-Plus kit but need feedback on how other members think about them. Also what would be the best shock to go with the kit.
On my DD I've got the Eibach Pro-Kit/Tokico HP (Blues) set up and I highly recommend it.
I run 16's for the winter and 17's the rest of the year.
I'm in PA also and I've had no winter "driveablity" issues at all.
The car handles way better and the ride is firm but not harsh.
I've also got the Eibach front and rear sway bars.

Same for me. Eibach and Tokico give you stiff ride and comfort!
I've heard alot of members like the pro-kit and the Tokico HP (Blues) set up very much. I was looking on another post where they asked how the Eibach Sportlines looked on a Cavy. In my opinion the wheel gap looks really nice but I would be scared to have the wheel bounce up into the inner fender and start bending or braking parts. Also I don't know if that ride height would work good in the winter. Do any of you guys have pics of your j-bodys with the Pro-kit and the Tokico Blue set up. I want to compare the wheel gap from stock to the pro-kit and Tokico Blues setup. Is there any other lowering Spring and shock combinations you guys think that work really well, or should i stick with the pro-kit. Also would I have to/ need to replace my shocks when i change my springs or can I let them go for a little bit to save up some money and then change them. This next statement might be way off from j-body's but I'm want to hear your opinions on it. I have 2 cousins one has 3 honda civic's a 1999 si that is basically slammed for right know on skunk2 2.5 in lowering springs, which is to low for his liking so i guess he is going to put spaces in the springs to raise it up a bit it is his DD. He also has a 1993 civic hatch that is also lowered about 2 inches and has no problem. His Brother has a 1995 neon that is lowering on megan racing 2-2 1/4 inch all around springs, that is no where close to being dropped 2 inches and he also has a 1999 civic coupe that is lowering on sportlines if i remember correctly and it currently has stock steelies on it, and it looks like there is only about 2-3 inches of wheel gap on it. I like to see actual pics of cars lowering to see what set of springs and what drop i should get.

Pics of my car on stock springs/struts and lowered on Pro-Kits/Tokico HP's.
And don't lower it on stock struts, they'll blow. Wait 'til you've got the money to do it all right the first time.
Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.
Does anyone of you guys have any pics of the Pro-kit and Tokico Blue combo?
Thanks for the link for the pics of ur car, i was just curious if another member had pics of the same setup like urs.
Eibach Pro-kit or Sportlines on some new struts.

I will take a few for ya
Thank all of you guys for the support to help me in finding the right lowering spring and strut/shock combination I really appreciate it. I have bad news to tell you guys, I was in a accident this afternoon and think I totaled it. Both air bags went off, the windshield is smashed, radiator support bent in, radiator bent in, hood release and latch bent in, and torn up front bumper. Thankfully nobody was hurt!!!

if you are recommending new stockers, that is horrible advice.
If you are recommending a new upgraded strut (koni yellow, kyb agx, tokico) then I agree. A lot of guys runs Eibach's on here wth great reveiews.
I will say that ride quality is even more improved if you go to a full coilver. (not sleeves and a performance strut but something like tein basics/ss, std's, etc) spring rates and damping are properly selected vs. a strut that is designed to work with a wide range of springs.

x2 engineering > all.
Ok so heres a new question about this thread if u have lowering springs that give u kinda of a bumpy ride what would u suggest strut wise to go with cause oem def is not cutting it.....
Depends on the lowering springs you have. If you have the eibach pro-kit either kyb agx's or Tokico Blues. anything lower and i would say tokico d spec or koni yellows.
