Can someone tell me what the size of these bolts are so I don't have to go to the store and guess and test. Thanks
just what i needed. thanks
Does any know the size bit that fits these bolts? I thought they were hex but after looking at mine they look more like they take torque bits.
They should be an allen head..
ok thanks, mine may just be damaged from someone using the wrong size then.
Caliper bolts that have been replaced from ones from advance or auto zone may have torx bits. It should be a T-50 or T-55. I believe it's a T-55 actually.
I tried to fit a T-55 in it, it started to go in part of the way but it was extremely tight. I wasnt sure if there was an uncommon size in between 50 and 55 that it may be. Next time I'm messing with it I'll try the T-55 again.
Try tapping it with a hammer. Sometimes they get dirt inside them, makes it for a tight fight.
And there is no size between a 50 and a 55.
If your bolts are to where you don't know what to get them out with you might want to replace them. They aren't that expensive to replace and then you would know what you have in there.
I didnt think there was a size in between but wasnt sure. and I prolly will go ahead and replace them whenever its time to change brake pads
