ok curiousity hit here, what is the difference in mounts over the years in j-bodies, I have a 99 that I want to put the suspension on my 97, and the suspension from the 97 onto the 01, the 99 have second series mounts in it, Im not sure how they differ as I hate the idea of ripping it all appart again lol

they are interchangeable.

The height is slightly different between mounts. it has been a VERY long time since I messed with the strut mounts, though......or it may have been manufactures. I really can not remember.

They are interchangeable though.

thats what I thought, as I like the ones I was using on the 99, and the 01 getting the suspension from the 97 z when I put the 99 z setup on the 97, then taking the swaybar from the 99 and moving it to the 01, alot of work ahead lol, but the 99 going to be turned into just a parts car, the 01 the daily, 97 going to be the 14 second beast once I find hp tuner up here lol, need to deal with egr light

what he said ^^^... if your using the 99 for parts i'd be interested in the side skirts if they are any good and if you want to part with them. I think you said its a z24 right?? I can't find any spare skirts around here..
