since i have lowered my car i have this weird shaking/vibration when accelerating from a stop. mostly around 20-25ish .. its pretty bad when i have the coils down quite a bit. i have been looking for bad bushings and all but cant find anything. i know there are alot of people having this problem but i cant find anything on how to fix it? so if you have any info i please let me know!

You're too low for the CV's in your axles. Get custom axles made with CV/tripods which can handle more angle in operation.

They are correct. I had the same problem when I lowered mine. CV axle couldn't handle it and they broke if I turned the wheel all the way and applied too much throttle.

Wouldn't raising the engine increase the angle and stress on the CV's?

Its the same thing as the inner CV on a getrag car.

Its funny that my vert has this issue and yet my Z does not. Both sit about the same height and both have a 1 new axle from the same company, but ever since installation the vert has had vibration issues.

Back to the raising of the engine, im assuming something as simple as wahsers under the engine mount would be enough? Is there a certain height it needs to be raised such as a sweet spot, or is possible to get it to high, obviously hood clearance, but regarding the CV's?

My car does that on Sportlines. I just have a hard time believing my axles are binding on a pretty mild drop. Would anything else cause shuttering? Ball joints? CA bushings?

raising the engine would bem ore than spacing the motor mount. youd have to address the trans mounts and make a new torque strut. Along with having a new down pipe made. Hoses etc should be ok.

Our axles should be cf/ tripod. Atleast all mine have. If you want you can have them cut and response shorter if you think the is the problem. My guess is that the cf has a stiff spot. Funny part is I don't remember this on any of my 5 js I have had.

We have a tripod on the inside and a standard CV on the outside. But I bet our tripod is kind of crappy. They make tripods for axles that can do over 20* of misalignment.

Yeah, the ones I'm thinking of cost about 250 per tripod and hold 300 horse ish. So 500 per axle plus the actual shaft and getting them made. But you got to pay to play.
