So, when I ordered parts for my complete front suspension replacement, it seems that I accidentally ordered the FE2 LCAs:
MOOG RK620466 R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint Info
Front Left Lower; FE2 Ride And Handling Suspension
MOOG RK620465 R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint Info
Front Right Lower; FE2 Ride And Handling Suspension
Now that everything is torn apart, I can see that these are 0.5 - 1" longer than the ones that were on the car. Obviously, this will affect alignment and I am not sure there will be enough adjustment to correct the camber.
Has anyone done this before or should I just order the right parts and extend this project out:

If they are longer than your car either has the wrong control arms or you got grand am control arms which are longer. Fe1 and fe2 are the same dimensions just different bushings and I believe one has more welds on.

I think it might be a moot issue. I have never seen nor hear of anyone having this issue but one other person who got the wrong control arm.

It's probably a Moog thing, and I bet if you look up the Grand Am, they are the same part number.
There have been verified instances of companies that make replacement parts using the same control arm for the J-body and the N-body, because they are nearly identical, with the N-body being slightly longer. You can easily align properly if you have the slotted holes in the bracket on your strut.
