where do the struts start off at for settings (right out of the box)???

i started turning them (just to play) and realized there is no end to the turning, why is that???? i figured there would be backseated for one end of the spectrum and front seated for the other....

there is a stop when u turn all the way soft, this is where they are set from the factory
and i believe 1 1/2 turns is the firmest (i could be wrong, dont have the koni sheet with me)
