Do AGX struts install any differently than stock?
nope........just make sure you get a spacer for the nuts......the spacer needs to be the same size as the spacer thats attached to the stock strut nut........and the stock nut does NOT fit the agx struts........trust me

I don't know ... better question ... do they come with everything they need for the install?
u reuse or buy new strutmounts. other then that they bolt right in with everything including mini screw drivers to adjust the front. mine are installed and i didnt add anything extra ?

Well on mine and a few other people......mabey its only a problem with the 00-05 mounts the strut doesn't have enought t hreads to allow the nut to go down all the way and there is play between the strut and mount that will eventually do serious damage to the mount, so a spacer will allow the nut to tighten down fully, however this spacer is not supplied, but any hardware store will have it, or ive heard ya can call kyb and they will hook you up

Well I've got a 96, so it should be no problem, right?
no problem, and by spacer, do you mean washer?

Hey my AGXs just came in the mail ... I see the adjuster knob on the front two, but not the back? Is that normal? Also, three came "pre-loaded" with a tight strap of plastic over them, one did not. Problem? Sorry if these are stupid questions -- I'm kind of a newb. I can take pictures, too, if my descriptions aren't any good.
Just a note -- I got the fronts and rears mixed up. It's the rears that have the snazzy visible knob, and the rears where I can't see one. Like I said, I'm not a suspension genius.
I mean fronts where I can't see one ^^ arg
look at the top of the shaft. There is not adjustment wheel on the side...I believe on the AGX the adjustment is the top of the shaft... There should be some colored "pie wedges" or something for when you turn it.
I may be wrong.

go ahead and cut the tie straps.... they compressed the rears so they could use a smaller box. And the fronts have the adjustment at the top. Make sure u press down then turn with the screw driver to adjust.

Dumb question again ... I found what you guys were talking about -- pictured here. Once the strut's on the car, how will that be accessable?
go look outside and your stock equipment, i think ull figure it out
(pop the hood) (look at the struts)
