I am planing to buy a set of 1.5in drop springs soon. So I am conducting this survey as part of research.
This is only for people who did a drop with 1.5in drop or less with springs. No coilovers or air ride.
1.What make with drop size?:
2.What strutsare you using?:
3.Has any problems has happened? i.e.- axle problems, etc...?:
4.How long have you've been lowered?:
Thanks

1. 1998 Pontiac Sunfire SE on a 1.5 B+G drop
2. KYB AGX Struts
3. No, just a small creak from the rear i havent found yet, and the front left strut mount i didnt replace so it still makes noise but unrelated to the struts or springs. And i hit the hardest bump so far and i swear my heart fell through my ass. Other then that the ride is semi stiff and the body lean is gone. I dont find it uncomfortable. Feels "sporty"

chevy z24 '99 with pro kit
Koni yellow
No problems at all
10 months
Never had a problem with bottoming out and don't expect too
The ride can be a bit stiff..you can feel most undulations in the road even on softest setting but I like it...
personally I think the goldline drop looks better but I doubt there is any performance difference....
I am getting a slight noise when turning from the left strut now but probably just the strut mount going again which is no surprise since with complete stock setup I had to have both strut mounts replaced at less then 25k km's...and now I'm at 97k

3- squeaky stock upper shock mounts, but I replaced them, no more squeak, and my upper strut mounts go bad about once a year
4- 3 or 4 years maybe...I forget....
