i've got everything ready for the rear install but i don't know if i'm to compress the springs because the strut mount is higher than the springs when they'er not compress
Well seeing that the springs are lowering springs and are shorter than the stockers...the mount is higher. NO you dont need to compress it. Why compress it when there is no need?
If the mount is on and you can put your washer, lock washer and nut on...then tighten it. Once everything is on and you let the car down it will be fine.
now...you sure your capable of doing this?
thanks, i did what you said and yet the car compress the springs and it looks great now i have to do the front
Great...im glad it worked for ya.
Let me know how the front gores (how hard). I just did my yellow install with goldlines (had the goldlines on but just changing struts) on the rear and now i need to do the front. Just did the rear friday night.
