First of all I'd just like to say after having Koni / Rksport coilovers for 1.5 years , they Pro Streets are much more comfortable. I've had the Pro Streets on for about a week and since day one the rear end has clunked. I've removed and re-adjusted 3 times in an attempt to isolate the clunk and cant figure it out. The rear mounts are only a month old and the top bolt is as tight as can be. Yesterday I took the springs all the way off and compressed the strut, with no problem. No leaks , it shoots right back into position like it should, so its not blown. The smallest little bump generates a painful clunk, as anyone could imagine this has become very very frustrating. Anyone experience anything like this with the Pro Streets?

OK why did you not just order some softer spring rateshttp://www.ground-control-store.com/products/category.php/CA=50 for the konis/rk coilovers?
and did you have the mounts on the konis?
see ya!
The RK / Koni set up was nice, I'm not knocking it all, but I was looking for more comfort, and I now I have it. The front mounts are new for the Pro streets, and the rears were new on the 12th of Feb, I did mount the RK / Konis on them but I probably only drove 80 miles with them on I had just bought a truck, and had to break it in

One of the reasons I got rid of mine. They made a lot of noise in the back and I figured it was not worth what I paid. Anyway, I nearly eliminated all the noise in the back just by flipping the springs. The helper spring on the bottom and the main spring on the top. There were hundreds of posts on this when they came out. A thorough search should give you a lot of information.

I have the same clunk noise in the back, only with a pretty big bump though.
Are you slammed all the way down?

I'm no where near the bottom in the rear....... in fact I'm only 3 threads from the top because of the damned BC2 bumper that likes to drag on the ground. They still seem to ride smooth enough so I'll try flipping the springs. THANKS!

ony my right rear clunks over bigger bumps
I' ve had the same problem with mine. Any bump in the road and the back end clunks. I have tried everything from flipping the springs to using different strut mounts and the noise is still there. I got so tired of trying to find out where the problem was that I just put the stock suspension back on the car. It doesn't look or handle very well but at least I don't have to listen to the noise anymore.
We have installed a couple sets of those.
We found that the spring did not have proper retention. When unloaded, we noticed the spring cuold move around. We machined spring perches to fit the springs. All was good.
We have been told there was no need. We were uncomfortable with the movement. SO we dealt with it the way we thought was best.
Any chance you have some perches lying around Craig?

WE NEED DETAILS!
Whatever you can give me on your solution, this is something I would like to fix.

We have never actually offered this openly. I will have to check with the shop to give more details. I'm sure we can make them for you guys. Just be warned that these are not mass produced. You may want to tell me off when I give you a price. we also have to somehow fit it into our schedule. if you know any others, it woudl help us very much. It's the time to set up the machines that takes the most. If I make several, the cost would come down.
I can't say 100% that this is your actual issue. It's an asumption I am making.
We made perches for both the front and the rear.
Craig, I would be down for four perches (front and rear). Prices I am flexible with

Thanks
I don't have them made for stock. We are looknig into how we can help out. We have only made a few for local enthusiasts.
Please give me some time. I willl figure something out and get in touch.
Craig, I know you probably dont want to give away any secrets on this but what did these things consist of? I have some peices from generic coils laying here that include top hats , that fit the strut mount itself, and fit the strut itself but havent been able to test fit on the actual spring, are yours similiar to this?
