Hopefully this is the right place to post this, but anyways, I got a problem. I have a 97 Cavalier, and have Koni Reds in, and love them to death. Not any problems. My Buddy has a 96 sunfire, of which he bought some Koni Yellows last year. I put them in for him, and was quite dissapointed in them. The Reds installed so nice, but when Installing the Yellows, we had to drill the mounts so the strut would slide throuth the mount. Once I got that figured out, All was well. Untill the center nut started to back off. I tightened on both front struts the nut twice last year. The last time I made sure they were good and twight. Well, they have both come loose again. Has anyone else had this problem? What was your fix? Tomorrrow I am going to tighten them back down again, but this time use lock tight. And just so you know, I used the hardwhere that came with them. Hopefully this works, and if it does not I am going to try to find 2 new locking nuts and try that. Any help would be great.
thanks

yeah, some threadloc and maybe some crimpnuts or somethin.....
never heard of the top nut being a problem but good luck
How about throwing a split washer underneath the nut?

or do both...use some threadloc and a split (lock) washer, or replace the nut with a nylon locking nut..
