ok, what wire did you use to wire your pressure switch into a constant power when the key is turned on. it said use one from under the steering wheel but i couldnt find one that wouldnt mess withthe theft system. i then settled for the red radio power but i doubt that is right
where is yours?
I used a solenoid and wired the trigger wire to activate the solenoid to my ignition fuse... the solenoid then provides the power to the compressors as well as the pressure switch.

mines wired into my hazard lights cause i like coming out to a full tank all the time
and i have no leaks so i dont have to worry about killing my battery....only problem would be if the pressure switch fails :|

I wired it to my ignition because when I had it wired so that it could come on at anytime, I had a little issue come up. I left my car, and somehow, the pressure switch failed or something, because I came back to my car about 30 minutes later with the buzzing of the compressors.... the tank pressure must have been 250 psi or something... It was a real eye opener. If you insist on running it to a live connection 24/7, may I suggest a 200 psi blow-off / release valve?

never thought of that ...could replace that manual fill valve on top with a pressure release or that extra end port

For you people who want to run to constant power you can just put a switch inline someplace to turn it off any time you want. I usualy leave mine all the time.
It comes in handy at drive threws and crap like that when you need to shut it off while your order and stuff like that.

Yea, I hate the damn compressors always coming on when I am blasting my music and playing with the air ride... kinda annoying...
I am going to be tapping into the trigger wire for the solenoid and placing a switch on that. I am telling you guys, you really should look into solenoid's... they have made hooking up two compressors as well as adding a switch a breeze..
But then again, I have never used relays...

Heres a page with some links of how to wire up compressor(s) correctly...

Some good information there...
I think it is about time someone makes an air ride faq for our cars....
I would vote ESB and Pahtcub to make it! lol!

Haha.. nice you guys found our bagginit website. That site owned and part of S10forum.com, so it is designed around our trucks, but any of the switch and valve wiring, and air line plumbing diagrams will work just the same on a cavy. We also have a Air Calculator that will tell you how long it should take your compressors to fill your air tank when playing with the bags.
hope it helps ya out. If anyone wants to try the calulator out, let me know.
