Air Lift...
Tuesday, April 12, 2005 6:08 PM
Just installed my air struts and guess what... BOTH, my driver side struts arent working. WTF! I'm dealin with airlift right now, but the thing is, it seemed that the struts just didnt want to go up. I would put over 100 psi into them, they would hop a little, but not extend... at all!

Everything is plumbed right, the valves are in the right direction, I have over 140 psi in my tanks... etc etc it is the struts!! not me.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?!?

I had that problem with one of my rears. The problem was when they powdercoated the struts, the temperature of the process melted the bumpstops and seals inside the strut which wouldn't allow them to extend back out. They are very nice people there and got my problem fixed in no time.

no need to be a dick. make sure the valves arent getting stuck. if they are getting stuck then you wouldnt get air to the bags. take the fill valves and open them up and clean them out w/ soapy water and dry them off

OR !!!!!!!!!!

Instead of taking valves apart.
SImply unplug the connection at the bag and hit the switch. You will hear air coming out. ALot easier than taking the valves apart.

I am all that is man
