Complete replacement.
Thursday, April 14, 2005 6:30 PM
I have a set of KYB AGX's and Eibach pro kit springs on the way to my house and i just had a quick question.

1. My car is a 2001 cav with 91,000 miles on it. I want to make the install of this suspension as easy as possible. So could i just buy new stut mounts and rubber spring seats and assemble the springs and struts/shocks outside the vehicle so it would be a complete quick bolt on opperation saving the factory assembly in case i sell the car?

2. Or if the factory mounts and other things are still good should i just re-use them?

3. What can i expect to pay for new front and rear strut mounts and rubber spring seats? dealer or parts store or otherwise?

Thanks for any and all help!

P.S. I have the Eibach sway bar kit coming by midweek next week along with all these suspension goodies. First time pic post of my transformation soon to come so look out!

i would personally buy the new strut mounts and assemble them all before they go in. much much easier. and if your strut mounts are the stock ones, they're probably beat anyways.

i think the rears are around $40 to 50 and fronts are $60-80, or in those areas roughly. ive been getting all different prices from places around me.

The rears should be $40 at your local Autozone.
