I took off the caliper, and the rotor will not slide off. I assume it's rusted on there and I sprayed penetrating oil in there, but it still won't come off. I already tried using a rubber mallet, no dice. Any suggestions?

if you're replacing them, get a bigger hammer
if you want to put them back on, i have no suggestions
Yeah, beat the hell out of em
that's the thing, i'm just replacing a stripped lug stud. I will be putting the rotor back on...

It should come right off... I had to replace a broken stud a few months back.... Try hitting it on the back side with your mallet, and switch which sides you are hitting it on... it should jar it loose.

uhhhh take the tire off?
jk
Never had a rotor stick on. I say get a thin chisel and lightly tap it around the hub where the rotor is making contact....maybe that will break the rust seal. Otherwise keep hitting it with a rubber hammer...or a plastic dead blow hammer.
