Has anyone installed these mounts yet? I am gettting mine on wednesday and I am just wondering if it solves the clunking. I am in the process of installing the air on my car now and what to know how well they work?

I think he is talking about that issue some of us had with the clunking that Jim had a post about saying the problem should be fixed with these new o-ring things. All the newer kits already come with them though. I never had to worry about talking to Jim about them at all
Im not exactaly sure what they are, but according to Jim they stop the clunking. thoughthardtocomeupwiththis do you have pics of what they look like?

I don't have any pics of it but you are probably referring to the black metal washer that had a big hole in it and it was too big for the shaft so they put a rubber washer thing inside of the hole to make it smaller and stop the shaft from hitting the metal washer
do you have to drill it out to 1"?

I have no idea about that cause mine came with everything already since I had the new setup. You will have to talk to ESB maybe or even Phat Cub. Or just look in the post that Jim wrote from Easystreet. It should have the info in there for you
I replaced the rear shocks and struts with new units from NAPA. Noise problem gone. I am unsure if I am talking about the same thing as you are though...?

i got mine but i didnt replace them yet. basically what jim sent was 8 (well he sent me 8 so i could do all the bags) metal washers that have a rub washer attached to the metal washer and 4 new lock nuts. maybe i'll get around to do it this weekend and snap some pics

i spoke with jim on monday and he said they would go out later in the day...hoping this will solve my noises...i reinstalled it all after the winter and the clunking and crap was worse than ever...not so much in the front anymore but more coming from the rear
