I am in desperate need of a new suspension and I hate the install with the Koni so I'm wondering what is the best strut out there
I was thinking the Toyico D specs anything else adjustable out there that is better, I doubt the AGX KYB is better

Just get a shop to install the koni inserts for you, then do the install yourself.
Thats only for the fronts of course, the rears install like any other shock.

What's up with your Pro Streets?
I'd say the next best would be the Mantapart Bilsteins... or the custom coilovers that Gravana is making now.
You're not likely to ever receive the Bilsteins

im not willing to pay a shop to do the install point being i want something i can do on my own without sawing and all that other crap with the koni, that is the whole point of this post something other than koni and something that i wont have to wait months for
i wont buy anything from mantapart

what about the tein setup?
tekico is a very known brand i was thinking of getting the d-specs or yellows its still in purgatory for now, until i finally pick one.
if you can afford the dspecs get em i say the spec sheet looks awesome not to mention they've been around for a long time.

you should be shot for suggesting a crappy suspension component.

The shop I frequent charges $15 per strut to install the koni cartridge into the stock strut.
Koni is the best strut, everyone knows that. If you want to save $30 and go with something that bolts in but is lesser quality, go for it.
Its really not hard at all.
I dont like the prostreets non ajustable dampening, I want adjustable dampening

FYI. once you set your preferred settings (and if you dont race), you are going to be very unlikely to adjust them much.

Why would koni's be better than the Tokico?
Also why would the Tein be a crappy? From what I've seen they are considered some of the best?
I am planning to do my suspension soon, and would really like to know what people think the difference is between these brands?
imo any company that cannot warranty a spring from sagging is crap, tein doesnt warranty they even state they will sag. so of they can't prevent a spring from sagging then why should i spend over 1grand for something that will be more crap.
koni by far is better, they actually warrant up to a 3" drop on coilovers, tokico 2" drop i believe and you can't abuse them. koni on the other hand, if you some how manage to blow them they'll replace them no questions asked. keep in mind im not bashing tokico, they are a solid company and for a 2" drop you get damn good dampening. both are solid struts, but if you want a strut that, if it blows 4 years from now, you can replace, even if you are at a full 3" drop daily driver, potholes and speed bumps, racing every day doesnt matter if it blows they'll replace, then koni is the way to go.
imo only a few good coilovers on the market, i mean good coilovers, H&R, B&G and thats about it imo, havnt heard much about the KW. and these arent j-body specific.
curious to see how gravana coilovers will do. how good they'll be for daily driving. especially in the streets of califonia.
