I got one on order and Ive read where the U bolts have to be modified some to fit right can someone elaborate on this a little more. Thanks
nothing big really... you might have to flex em out by hand or squeeze em together a small bit when you install the brackets to the u bolts. nothing extreme.
installed my whole bar in under an hour.
i had to grind on mine, b/c when i bent them open to get them over the axel thing, they were too spread out to fit into the metal plates.

that has happened to some, brian mayer aka B3 aka black99cav aka psucavy aka helmetboots...
when installing his we basically spread it out over the trailing axle and the ends didnt go in, so i just gripped em like those hand exercisers and squez, wasnt much a prob.
Can anyone find cheaper then Shox.com $129+ shipping ??

I was told (a long time ago) by someone that the U-bolts were meant to go THRU one of the holes on the axle... anyone actually installed it like this? Seems silly to me... but wtf...

Thats what my instructions said that came with the bar.
Basically I took my dremel and enlerged the hols on the brackets the /^\ bolts fit into.
(their nor really "U' shaped)
Since they fit perfectly I didn't wanna try to bend anything.
But either way should work.
