There's two bolts and one nut at the top of each rear strut. I can't remember for sure, but I think the nut is 1/2" and the bolts are 10mm. The 1/2" socket you use will need to be about 2" tall (w/o the ratchet) to fit over the bolt. The front struts have two nuts and one bolt at the top, again not positive (even tho I just dropped my car two nites ago, lol) but I think those are all 10mm. Oh yea, in the rear, the nut is inside the trunk and the bolts are underneath in the wheelwell. The front has bolts and nuts underneath the hood.
As for the bolts/nuts (botls rear, nuts front) on the bottom of the struts, they're all 3/8"
In terms of removing old stuff and putting the new stuff on, I found it easiest to remove the bottom bolts of the struts, and then remove the top bolts. I notice you have an 02, and coupe at that, so your car should be easier than mine (00 and sedan) but have a can of WD40 ready (I used up about 1/2 of a big can - equal to like 1 whole regular size can). Sedan's seem to have everything (non-interior anyway) torqued down more than coupes - ask Ken2.2 if ya want proof, he's done a lil work on my car - , so again you should have an easier time than I did. It's a good idea to have a long breaker bar ready in case you need it (I was hammering on my ratchet b/c I didn't have a breaker bar). You'll want to use a hammer to get the bottom bolts out from the front suspension.
Install is pretty much the reverse. For the rear struts, get the bottom end seated into the cups on the control bar, then mount the top end before putting the bolt thru the bottom. Pretty much the same on the front, get the bottom seated some (doesn't need to be perfect until after you mount the top) and get the top end all tightened down
That's pretty much it. Sorry I don't really have any pics, my camera batteries died right after I started to do the install.
