Lowering Springs Question
Thursday, May 12, 2005 12:43 PM
Hey everybody i have just re-installed my lowering springs i put new mounts in i was wondering does anyone use a piece of rubber to place the spring on to suppot it or anything. I was just wondering cause my new mechanic told me that there was supposed to be a rubber piece at the top of the spring and the bottom of the spring for it to seat on does anyone have any idea what they are talking about.

there is a flat rubber "washer" for lack of a better word. it insulates the spring from the perch. on the top its built into 2000+. I don't know about the 95-99's but I don't remember seeing a separate e piece in a diagram I once saw, it has been awhile.
