Tein S-tech Review

Allright guys i got them installed today. Install was very easy just had one little problem but nothing major. Now for the springs. The ride is awesome. It isnt to firm but not to soft. They ride great and dont jar your teeth out. While i wish my car sat alittle lower the look is nice. Not slammed but not 4x4in. I would say my car has to be one of the best rideing lowerd cars i have been in. And also im still on factory struts with 60k miles on them.
So if you looking for some lowering springs deffently look at the s-techs you wont regreat it.

I too have recently installed my Tein's on my Koni rear stock front....yea stock front. but the ride is supurb. i got the konis on the softest settingin the back and the front stuts are stock with 48k on them.

^ i agree that the ride doesnot jar your teeth or kick you in the bum over every bump. it has a better ride over the bumpy roads than my friends H&R springs. I would definately recomend them.

Did you happen to make sure your stock struts still work? They typically go bad before 60k, and if they weren't broken, I'm willing to bet they will be soon. You may want to consider saving up for some AGX's.

I have the S. tech's installed, but I have a problem, i didn't get the "advertised drop in the rear, did anyone else measure the before and after on their cars like I did. I ended up with only a .25" drop in the back. According to Tein they sold 91 units so far, and have had ust my one concern, I am hoping someone else has had a problem as well! Anyone?

BTW the ride is awesome, it is just the attitude of the car is off with the right drop in the front, and the wrong one out back.

yeah my rear wasnt very much of a drop eather but probably about a 1" drop in the rear. But i figure they might need soem time to break in and hopefully wont sag. Im gonna get new struts once i get my new rims.

Thanks

Measure it! My ride height from ground to lower lip of my fenderwell through center of the wheel is like 27", should be less than 26"!

What is yours?
