Ok guys... I have searched and read the FAQ, but am still left with one question:
After I install the coilovers, I know that I need to get an aligment... but what height do I set them at for the best results during alignment?
I tend to think that the aligment of the wheels would be different at a 4" drop (I know... a bit extreme) versus a 1" drop.
Thanks in advance for the help
Drop it to whatever your going to ride around at. Lowering your car past 1.5" is just about pointless though.
yeah... I understand that past a certain point is rediculous, esp. for a daily driver... but the difference is that I want to lift it as high as possible during the winter... and drop it to ~1.5-2" in the spring. So would I have to realign everytime? and during shows when I drop it extreme (not moving) and lift back to leave, does that affect the alignment at all?
Well, changing your ride height will affect your toe to a degree. If you slam it for a show and then put it back to where it was before you will be fine. I doubt you will need an alignment every winter/summer though.
