for slotted rotors and any big brake kit with this type of rotor, which way do you want the slots facing? do you want the outer ends of the slots to be pointing in the direction the wheel turns? or the other way.
Rotors should be marked as to left or right. The pass side should angle like this \ and the drivers / . You want the slots to move forward thats their purpose so they can expell the heat/gasses and dust forwad and out by the force of the moving wheel. Hope that helps.
