Where to get lowering springs installed?
Thursday, May 19, 2005 6:39 PM
I'm thinking about getting some lowering springs for my car. My question is; where can I take my car to have them installed? Would they do it at Sears or someplace like that, or do I need to find a small shop to do it? I can't do it myself because I'm lacking a few things, tools, a lift and ability.

any place where people work on cars really.

you dont need a lift, you can do it if you buy tools, a jack, and put some effort to it.

ask around and see who knows a small shop that will do it for you.see who people trust with their car.also are there any JBO people in your area that can help you out? I just put dirty elfs struts and springs on last Friday, and I did make him get his hands dirty but with me know what to do and having tools it was easy really, and he know more about how his car works.

you can ask at like sears if you want, but I have a feeling they will tell you that they will only install factory replacement parts. i think when it comes to after-market stuff they don't want a lawsuit on their hands if something should break while your driving.

Tires Plus put on an exhaust for my friend and they said they would do aftermarket springs and brakes and stuff like that.
