I bought Suspension Techniques (1.2") springs for my 1996 Cavalier some time ago but never got them installed because people told my my stock suspension would blow...
So I thought of KYB GR-2, but it seems those aren't stiff enough also... Do I have to buy AGX only for a 1.2" drop? And can someone tell me the price difference between GR-2 and AGX struts? ($CAN)
Gr-2's will be fine for those springs, as will the stock ones struts, the 1.2" isn't going to be that hard on the suspension.
GR2 - $469CDN
AGX - $799CDN

So I won't notice any handling improvements upgrading from stock struts to Gr-2? Or the difference is too small and isn't worth the price?
gr2s are oem replacements.
if your stocks are blown, then yea you will notice that it will feel like your struts work again, other than that, they arent anything special.
if you want to control stiffness, get agx.... however in the automotive hobby, you get what you pay for. and quality usually costs
I enjoy that adjustablity of the AGX... but bumpy roads and a filled car with people makes the ride feel crappy because you feel everything.
well think about it.... car filled with people...... alot of weight...
all that weight has to move somewhere.
thats like a human carrying 3 people on his back, anything he steps on will be magnified.
