anyone from the grand rapids area know of a place who will install camber kits and do alignments. some places i called said that they wouldn't even mess with camber on a lowered vehicle let alone touch an aftermarket camber kit. any info would be greatly appreciated.

performance shops will do it, I don't know of any in the GR area though, might ask on some more local forums, like JBOM.
Your local Sears probably will.

dont tell em its lowered, just go there, say "align to spec" and be done... you dont need a kit, you dont need bolts, as long as you have it lowered 2 inches like you say, you shouldnt have any problems.
tires usually sit about an inch away from the top of the fender. i don't even remember what stock height is. and tires are 215/40's so they are smaller in diameter than the stock tires. i'm just concerned because i rubbed those things down to nothing last summer and had to buy 2 new ones this year. yes it was dumb (before anyone questions my stupidity)

chances are you are lowered DECENTLY past 2 inches....
if you got the right tire size you wouldnt have to lower the car that much. and prob wouldnt have any camber problems...
sooooooo......i should order a camber kit?

maybe... all it is are two bolts, but any conscious shop should know how to notch the struts a bit to where you dont need one.
after that, the next thing to concentrate on is getting the right sized tires and raising it so you arent wearing your cv joints excessively....
from experience, not paying attention to detail will, raise the amount of money you spend on your car VERY quickly.
thanks for the helpful info. once i need new tires i will definately get the right sized tires. saving money is important when you don't have much in the first place.

true.... but one lesson i learned with crappy coilovers a while ago....
i can save money now and keep constantly shelling out money, or splurge a bit now and be set for a while.
the constantly shelling out deal, you spend way more overall
