Ok here's the deal. I bought a 91 Talon TSI probably a few months ago. And it apears now that the previous owner did a swap to a dual piston set (retroed fitted not sure which car he used it from though) from the stock single piston set up.
Now the SS brake lines he put on were alittle to short. i have the brake lines if a shop needs them to use the same fittings.
But does anyone know if there is a shop that can make me new SS or rubber brake lines that are about 1.5in longer. I need them desperatly because the Talon is my DD and i don't want to drive my cavi around to work.
If anyone knows of a shop that can make them you would be my hero. (they are metric sized brake lines)........You would be an even bigger hero if you could find someplace thats around chicago? (but i,m really not picky at this point)
Thanks so much for anyones help!
Alex
russel makes brake lines in many styles and fittings... and also you can get em in different lengths...
if you type in custom brake lines on a search on yahoo, you will find quite a few sites that make em.... i did this about a month ago and found many.
thats two options you can take.
