As part of my continuous overhaul of the brakes, I talked to Baer about a rear disc kit. The salesman told me that they would work with the stock 16" rims. I already knew that, but my problem is that I currently have a pretty nice set of snow tires on 15" steelies. Yes, I know I could just sell them or not use them, but is there any way of possibly making a spacer plate to clear the caliper? I believe that the caliper may be the only thing preventing a proper fit. Any insight on this would be appreciated until I can wear out the snow tires! I really wanted to do this conversion this summer.

Someone know anything? It may help other who don't have 16" wheels to.

I have two 5/16" spacers on the back of my cavalier, on each side, for a total of 10/16" on each side.
I had to buy longer studs at kragen 10 @ 2.00 each.
I also bought 20 extended length lug nuts 20 @ 2.00 each ( because I put 1 5/16"spacer on each side of my cav up front, as well).
I bought the spacer from tognottti's ( something like auto world) 6 @ $7.95 each.
I know nothing about how your wheels would fit with your breaks, but if you want spacers they have em at tognotti's (located in sacramento ca, and on the WWW)
10/16=5/8
