well, my D-specs are on the way to accomodate my sportlines. i hope to put everything on next weekend. any last suggestions before i jump on the install myself. and i know to get the allignment done right after i drop it.
Take it to a shop to do. After I installed my D-Specs and Sportlines did cost me just about 40 bucks. Cheaper than eating up tires.
yeah, i have a shop around here with a real good reputation i'm gonna take it to for the alignment right after i do it. i don't think it will be too hard. i'm just gonna take my time and do it right. how did the stut mounts hold up on the d-spec/sportline setup??
Mine seem fine. I see you have a 2k4 which I have a 2k3 J and the front strut mounts had extra room up front and bounced around. Things weren't tightned down by the gap. I made this graphic while back to explain my situation.
so there will be a space between the spring and top mount??
what are everyone's opinion on the strut mounts?? i know monroe is supposed to be the best, but i don't really have the cash to spend $200 on all new mounts. should i just do the front or wait until my stock ones blow?? btw i have an 04, so i have to do a conversion on the spring seat if i switch mounts, right??
Dont loose your adjuster knob, I called the guys at Tokico to get a replacement and they didnt listen to me and sent me the wrong thing. But I found it like a week later so its all good.
i'll remember that... thanx for the heads up. i can't wait to get this stuff on, it should handle awesome, not to mention look bada$$
