So did the parts that were sent out to fix the upper mount noise actualy work?
The peice that fit in after drilling the hole out to one inch.
Im asking because I never recieved mine and IM wondering if its worth it.
Right now Im running on 95-99 upper mounts.
No more clunking sounds and it got alot of the harshness out. But it raised it about an inch which is killing me.

I couldn't tell ya man. But I did sell my easystreet kit. I honestly think it was the best move I have made on my car. It rides like a caddy now, im lovin it.
I think bagged cav said they did not really fix it but they did take away alot of the noise.
So you have the stock 95-99 mounts on the bags? If so did you do any modifications to make them fit? I have been wanting to do that cause I no longer have a warranty on my struts and I don't want them stripping out again. I also can't stand the cluncking and grinding when I turn the wheel on the easystreet mounts.
Hey Nick, your not makin' me feel too good here bro. (I bought his easystreet kit) BTW what do you have now?
big j, i sold the kit because i just finished high school, im going to umbc, 4 year college next year and i have to help pay. i loved the air ride, it was worth every penny, no doubt. but you have to sacrifice the ride for looks sometimes. the ride wasnt all that bad though, it just had some rattles, thats all. i have stock suspension along with stock bumpers now cause i had to sell basically everything i had including the type j bumpers. it sucks, but hey, i guess education is more important. i didnt mean to make it sound like i wanted to sell it, i had to sell it, but i think it ended up being better for me because im starting to fade out of the sport compact scene, unfortunately
i did the fix to my fronts and noticed quite a bit of a difference in a few areas, like going over a set of railroad track in my town used to bounce my car like mad, but now that i have these if took some to the rigid crappyness out, i cant really tell if it got rid of cluning because i never really had it in front. and the rears were too much of a pain in the ass so im gonna do something different with that i think. but it deffinatly helps.
Well I guess I'll stick with what ive got.
On the mounts I did the same trick you do to run the GC coilovers.
and the washer that used to be on top of the easystreet mount is now directly on top the Easystreet bearing under the mount. I had to drill it out a hair to make it fit right on the shaft. Easy and it works good.
But I still have noise. I think its just the damn struts themselves.
In July I will be showing my car at a huge Texas show and that will be its one and only time. After that the bags will for sure come off and I will be done with this thing. I may just sell the car. Not sure yet.
I am all that is man
the mounts didnt help with the noise in the rear of mine
i havent done the fronts because im sure it wont do anything and i need new bearings anyways...the creaking is horrid
im pretty sure its the struts themselves making the noise as well
