Addco rear sway review

WOW!

i installed the Addco rear sway bar on monday... i did notice a nice difference with it helping to eliminate understeer. I re-adjusted my D-specs from 2 front 2 rear (daily setting) to 1.5 front and 2.5 rear. I'm thinking off adjusting the rear to 3.

i found that the on/off ramps were alot smoother and consistant. cornering in general has improved greatly.

my whole suspension set up is complete minus a subframe brace. List of mods in my reg.

I can't wait for the next AutoX event to really see how much of an improvement this is
my autoX set up is .5 front and 7 rear.. but that might change as well with the addco bar.

i bought this bar used and it didn't come with any instructions.... anyone know how tight i should tighen the endlinks?

thanks

Ah you could try the new set up this Sunday buuuuuuuuuut your going drag racing. How thick is the addco bar? I have the hellwig I think(had it for about three years) never really notice that much of a difference although I never had a problem with understeer.

LOL yeah i know.. i need to represent the J's at the Team Wars event in St.Thomas

the Addco bar is a 1" (24.5mm) bar.... my stock front bar is a 22mm bar.. if i had the 18mm bar from the SE model i believe that i would have a bit more oversteer.... well that is what i was told.

Good luck Sunday!

yes you would man, I have the 18 front 22 rear and it has some overteer to it. but with a sub frame brace added it almost evens it out.

Addco rear bar + poly endlinks on stock 22mm front = funnest mods ever!

If you haven't swapped your front swaybar bushings to poly ones, DO IT! I noticed such a big improvement, I was amazed, for $20 I fell in love. Evened the front out with the rear, EASILY.

I bought Energy Suspension endlinks....
