AGX's

Just wondering if any one has bought the KYB AGX struts and how good do they work. Also if you are riding on coil overs or lower springs. Getting ready to buy them and just woundering if they are any good.

yes there are people using them but they are really to be used on spring with a drop no more than 1.5". The use of them on Coilovers voids the warranty.

They are a good setup, as long as you use them for their intended purpose. Like stated above, if you want to go low or use coil-overs, you need to look at Konis.

I have been on the AGXs for several months now, love 'em.

Just put mine on this week with Eibach Pro Kit.
So far is a great ride, hugs the road much better.
Nice mild drop with those springs.
2nd suspension I've put on.
Last summer cheaped out with Springtech springs and struts.
Almost got seasick with the bouncing.
Took that pos back off after 3 days.
Am very happy now.
I definately would recommend the AGX/Pro Kit setup.

yeah, I have AGX on my car with sportlines...it handles alright but needed to max it out. I'll need new struts/shocks by the end of the year so yeah, lower than 1.5, go konis

I have the AGX/Pro-Kit combo and it works great. Night and day for the handling and it's not bouncy. I left them on the settings they came out of the box at (2 out of 4 on front, 4 out of 8 on rear) and it'll send jolts to your spine if you hit a bump too hard, but it's not really annoying.

And uhh... hate to kinda jack the thread but heard you guys talking about sway bars, anybody know if all the 03, or 04's have the same front sway bar? I have a base model and when I was changing out an axle I peered in there and was like "oh lookie... a sway bar well that's cool!" Wondering what the thickness is on it but I don't have anything to measure it with right now. Also thought about adding a rear bar but it has pretty neutral handling at current settings so I'd be afraid to mess it up... throwing on a rear sway bar would probably make it oversteer.

I think that the base model 03-05 have a 18mm front bar and the sport pack cars have 24mm. as far as the car over-steering, don't worry because you can just lower the rear shock settings or raise the front to calm the rear-end down.
