Anyone that's installed the Eibach front bar will know what I need to know... hopefully... I'm doing the install tonight, but looking at it yesterday, I can't figure out if it goes up or down... the bend in the EIbach bar doesn't match the stock bar at all, so I can't tell just by looking. I figured it went one way, but then the writing is upside down... so I just don't know. I'd rather not have to take the subframe out again to change it
Anyone know??

Actually, I am kinda thinking that it will only go in one way. When you put the bar up there, then bend in it wont allow it to be bolted to the end links if its in there the wrong way. Of course I have never installed one so I may be completely wrong. I'm going to have to stay tuned to this cause now I'm curious.

Go Go OG Traction!!
just match the way the stock 1 came out
installing mine on saturday, so please figure this out!!
its not rocket sience guys , LOL
you match the bend with the stock sway bar , its easy
just the labor thats the pain in the arse
I put mine in with the eibach logo facing towards the hood.
enjoy the eibach kit, i know i am.
Hi John. The bar goes upside down. Or if you are still confused, as 97cavie24ls(JDM cav sedan™) said, try to match the bends with the stock sway bar as best as possible.
Maybe this pic can help you.

how hard is it to install them?
<img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y150/speedking017/JBObannerUSE.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">
I suppose I should have mentioned... I took the stock bar out, but didn't look at which way it faced first
LOL
So now I'm stuck trying to figure out which way it goes. That pic helps Eliot, thanks... I can see the bushings... and that should make it work.
<a href="http://www.lenkorules.com/"><img src="http://s93165229.onlinehome.us/images/zm/sig/LRDCsig3.jpg"></a>
hey john it isnt like the cavaliers are very hard to find , LOL
im sure you could find 1 long enough to look and see how the end of the bar is bent
My addco front is installed the same way as Eliot's. The two bars look exactly the same.
Ok, well I got it installed... Two problems...
1. One of the bolts that holds the power steering rack to the subframe was in the way of the bar itself... so I had to get a shorter bolt... (actually, I just hit it with the grinder... rawr!!). Clears now
2. The clearance from the bar to the CV boot on the passenger side was TIGHT!!! I got out the grinder and took off about 1/4" of material on the bar, because the axle couldn't turn without rubbing on the metal clip on the CV boot... I didn't want it to rip the boot off... but the driver's side has about 1/2" of clearance from the axle.. I don't get it! It's not like the bar is pushed over to one side more than the other, because it's front to back clearance that's the issue. It's lined up perfectly
After I parked it.. I felt under the car.... the boot is covered in grease
so it looks like I punched the boot anyway
@!#$!
<a href="http://www.lenkorules.com/"><img src="http://s93165229.onlinehome.us/images/zm/sig/LRDCsig3.jpg"></a>
John sorry to hear that.
1.- About the steering rack bolts, I had to change both bolts, too.
2.- And about CV boots, both sides in my car have almost 1/2" clearance. Your issue sound really weird.
.
I hope you can solve this problem soon. Let us tuned.

because the bar was not centered.
see ya!
No.. it was centered 100%... I was very particular on that. It lined up perfectly on the bolt holes on the control arms... the axle on the driver's side is half an inch away from the bolt... but the passenger side is touching it.
Honestly, I think it's an issue with the angle of the drive shafts... not the bar. But I'm not sure yet. I have to take the wheel off when I get home tonight and see where the grease is coming from.. I couldn't get my head under the car this morning... too groggy
Maybe I put the tranny mounts in the wrong spot... ?
<a href="http://www.lenkorules.com/"><img src="http://s93165229.onlinehome.us/images/zm/sig/LRDCsig3.jpg"></a>
john you might have gotten the wrong center sleve for the endlinks
my g/fs came with the longer 1's and hers will hit if you crank the wheel hard , when i did karos it had shorter 1's
thats what I was thinking....... one spacer is longer then the other, forcing the bar up higher on one end.........
I didnt see any clearence issues with the last Eibach bar........
Tip, the sticker on the stock bar, is on the PASSENGER side.
