How high off the ground does your car have to be? I live in Georgia... I can't find it anywhere, and was wondering if you guys knew...
i've heard there is no limit but soem cops come up with ways to bust you so i've heard
"Official Jewish J-Body"
i know some of the basics are
nothing on the car can sit below lip on the rim
ground to headlight has to be 24"
those are just a couple i remember , not sure on the headlights for all states
If you bottom out over a hole/bump/etc and leave
any mark they can bust you for damaging public property.
JDM is correct for almost every state (all maybe?). The rim issue is so you don't lose control if a tire blows. The headlight issue is for visibility reasons.
Remember it may be a federal crime if you commit it on a freeway.

call your local District Attorney's office, you pay taxes (which pay their salaries), they should be able to answer your question or point you in the right direction
Here's what I found by searching (what a concept) for "georgia" "motor vehicle code". From

Well it seems to me that they are more concerned with How High ya go rather then low ya go. That the way it should be, Was just watching rides on Discov Channel , they said average height of Sports cars Ie Mazzaratti, Lambo ,Porsche and so forth is 2 inches off the rockers. Some models even less.. If the cat from AZ is correct then how many of those cars illegal, I think he got his wires crossed,

I also built a cobra Replica in Chandler and it was a total of 3.5 inches off the ground at the rockers panels. I think he was pulling iot out his ass to be honest. Maybe wishfull thinking, cuz a car that low usualy can out run a police cruiser, But never the raido.
